    How Does the Drug Work?

    Clopidogrel is a selective inhibitor of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) which prevents the platelets aggregation and lowers the chances of blood clots formation. Atorvastatin is a lipid lowering drug and selective inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase which works by preventing the synthesis of bad cholesterol (LDL).

    • The use of Atorlip CV 10/75 mg Tablet is advised against in those concurrently receiving CYP3A4 inhibitors as it may increase the risk of rhabdomyolysis and myopathy.
