    Interactions:

    Possible drug interactions of Axepta 40 mg Tablet with other drugs

    • Concomitant use with mefloquine, tramadol or bupropion may increase the risk of seizures.
    • Concomitant use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as Rasagiline may increase the risk of neurotoxic effects.
    • Concomitant use with fluoxetine may increase the risk of cardiac events.
    • Atomoxetine may increase the effect of salbutamol when concomitantly used with it.

    • Axepta 40 mg Tablet may cause dizziness and sleepiness in some patients. It is not advisable to drive or use heavy machinery while taking this medication.
    • Special caution should be taken in the patients having the history of bipolar disorder.
    • This medicine should be used with caution in the patients with hypertension (high blood pressure).
    • Special caution should be taken in the patients having tachycardia (increased heart rate).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Axepta 40 mg Tablet may be unsafe for use during pregnancy and lactation. Prior consultation to the doctor is required in such cases.
