    Ethinyl estradiol and cyproterone prevent the androgen synthesis by blocking the androgen-synthesising enzymes. They together work by inhibiting the ovulation (release of egg) and changing the sperm fertility. Thus, inhibit conception and also regularize the menstrual cycle in PCOS.

    • Concomitant treatment of gestodene with hepatic enzyme inhibitors such as ketoconazole may increase the exposure of this medicine.
    • Carpela 0.035/2 mg Tablet can reduce the exposure of ciclosporin when concomitantly used with it.
