    Amlodipine Amlodipine is used in the treatment of hypertension, chest pain (i.e. angina) and other conditions in which the artery of the heart gets narrowed. It is also used for the prevention of heart disorders. Bisoprolol Bisoprolol is used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension), angina pectoris, and chronic heart failure. It can be used alone or in combination with other medications.

    Mode of drug action


    Amlodipine Amlodipine belongs to a class of drugs called the calcium channel blockers. The mechanism of action of is by dilation of the blood vessels, and thereby, improving the blood flow through them. Bisoprolol Bisoprolol is a selective beta blocker. It works by blocking the beta receptors present in the heart which leads to a decrease in the heart rate and force of contraction of the heart.
