    Dexrabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It reduces the amount of acid present in the stomach and thus helps in relieving indigestion and heartburn associated to stomach acid.

    The side effects of dexrabeprazole include nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, indigestion and flatulence.

    Special precautions for safe use

    • Avoid Kyrab if an allergic reaction has been experienced to any of its ingredients in the past.

    • People with appendicitis, colostomy or ileostomy (surgeries of intestine), rectal bleeding, colitis, and certain other intestinal problems should not take the Kyrab medicine.

    • People with sudden changes in the bowel habits, for more than 2 weeks should take this medicine with caution.

    • Do not take over-the-counter medicines, herbal medicines or other supplements along with Kyrab without asking a health care provider.

    • Kyrab for constipation should not be given to children below 3 years of age.
